Mackenzie harper

Mackenzie is the owner of Strawberry Mountain Sweets, which is a home-based bakery in Hot Springs Village. She have been married since 2015 to her handsome fireman, Matt. She is  a SAHM, so when she's not baking (and even sometimes during batches of cookies) she is  busy chasing 3 kids, Norah, Micah and Jovie, around. 

When she was a little girl, she would wake up early, turn the TV on to her favorite channel “The Food Network," take notes, and dream of one day having her own restaurant or bakery. Fast forward through lots and lots of life, and that dream started to take form when she started baking macarons in 2019. 

After some family members, and herself included, started having gluten-sensitivities, she wanted to make sure that all sweets that she made were gluten-friendly, and could be enjoyed by most people. In a world where gluten-free treats are limited, she wants to make sure that people with these sensitivities have something that is equally as delicious as the regular-flour treats. The beauty of a macaron is that they are naturally gluten-free. And because baking is such a passion for her, she makes sure all treats from her kitchen are indistinguishable from gluten treats. 

Baking has always been like a love language for he, so being able to bake sweets for other people to enjoy on their special day means the world to her.

WEDDING ADVICE: 
Time is not promised to anyone, so remember to always be present in the moment, appreciate the little things, and {eventually} laugh at the trivial squabbles.
